One of the most frequently reported issues with the GoldRush Balances API has been stale balances for rebasing tokens like stETH, aTokens, and cTokens. Because these tokens accrue value without emitting transfer events, our transfer-event-based indexing would show outdated balances. This was a top pain point for wallet apps, portfolio trackers, and DeFi dashboards relying on the GoldRush API for accurate holdings data.
This change now provides up-to-date balances for ~600 rebasing tokens (e.g. Aave, Compound, Lido, EtherFi, SparkLend) across all our Foundational Chains for the following endpoints:
- GET /v1//address//balances_v2/
- GET /v1//address//historical_balances/
- GET /v1//address//portfolio_v2/
- GET /v1/allchains/address//balances/
