# getGenesisHash on Solana

> Call getGenesisHash on Solana via GoldRush JSON-RPC. Returns the genesis hash of the cluster. Endpoint, parameters, return values, and code examples.

`getGenesisHash` on **Solana**: Returns the genesis hash of the cluster.

## Endpoint

Authenticate with `Authorization: Bearer <GOLDRUSH_API_KEY>`. See [authentication](/goldrush-json-rpc/authentication).

## Parameters

*This method takes no parameters.*

## Returns

`string`: Base-58 encoded genesis hash.

## Errors
