# getBlockTime on Solana

> Call getBlockTime on Solana via GoldRush JSON-RPC. Returns the estimated production time of a block. Endpoint, parameters, return values, and code examples.

`getBlockTime` on **Solana**: Returns the estimated production time of a block.

## Endpoint

Authenticate with `Authorization: Bearer <GOLDRUSH_API_KEY>`. See [authentication](/goldrush-json-rpc/authentication).

## Parameters

`i64 | null`: Unix timestamp in seconds, or `null` if unavailable.

## Errors

| Code     | Message                                     |
| -------- | ------------------------------------------- |
| `-32004` | Block not available for the requested slot. |

Plus standard JSON-RPC errors: `-32600` invalid request, `-32601` method not found, `-32602` invalid params.
