# getBlockProduction on Solana

> Call getBlockProduction on Solana via GoldRush JSON-RPC. Returns recent block production information for the current or a previous epoch. Endpoint, parameters, return values, and code examples.

`getBlockProduction` on **Solana**: Returns recent block production information for the current or a previous epoch.

## Endpoint

Authenticate with `Authorization: Bearer <GOLDRUSH_API_KEY>`. See [authentication](/goldrush-json-rpc/authentication).

## Parameters

`object`: `{context, value: {byIdentity, range}}` where `byIdentity` maps validator pubkey to `[leaderSlots, blocksProduced]`.
