# trace_call on Ethereum

> Call trace_call on Ethereum via GoldRush JSON-RPC. Returns the Parity-style trace of an `eth_call`. Endpoint, parameters, return values, and code examples.

`trace_call` on **Ethereum**: Returns the Parity-style trace of an `eth_call`.

## Endpoint

Authenticate with `Authorization: Bearer <GOLDRUSH_API_KEY>`. See [authentication](/goldrush-json-rpc/authentication).

## Parameters

`Object`: `{output, trace[], stateDiff?, vmTrace?}`

## Errors
