# eth_getBalance on BNB Smart Chain (BSC)

> Call eth_getBalance on BNB Smart Chain (BSC) via GoldRush JSON-RPC. Returns the native token balance of an address at a given block. Endpoint, parameters, return values, and code examples.

`eth_getBalance` on **BNB Smart Chain (BSC)**: Returns the native token balance of an address at a given block.

## Endpoint

## Parameters

## Errors

| Code     | Message                                  |
| -------- | ---------------------------------------- |
| `-32602` | Invalid params (e.g. malformed address). |

Plus standard JSON-RPC errors: `-32600` invalid request, `-32601` method not found, `-32602` invalid params.
